How to Make a Spiral Heart Pendant
- a brief tutorial

Smooth both ends of 2 feet of 16 gauge brass wire.

Bend the wire in the center around round nose pliers to form the bottom of the heart.

Hold the wire flat on a table that you don’t mind scratching or denting.  Or use a piece of wood on a steady surface. :)

Grasp one of the ends with needle nose pliers and while keeping contact with the table, rotate the pliers to form an inward spiral. Use your fingers to help with this and change your grip on the pliers as necessary.

Repeat with the other side, keeping the spirals even. Thread a red bead onto a chain. Put the ends of the chain through one of the spirals and nestle the bead into place.
